First one, then the other.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
He wraps. It's part of the fun even if it turns Christmas morn into an environmental disaster.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Color, for goodness sake.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Absolutely. I love to kiss.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
Three weeks before Christmas.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Excluding dessert? You're kidding. Pumpkin pie. That's the meal.

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child:
Santa decorated our tree on Christmas tree, so the best memory is of waking up to the decorated, tinselled tree.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Which truth are we talking about? Santa is alive and well. He likes my chocolate chip cookies very much.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Impossible. How can we do that if Santa comes on Christmas Eve?

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
With everything we have accumulated over the years.

11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
Love it. What's to dread

12. Can you ice skate?
Nope.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Yes. My grandmother gave me a stamp album that her brother helped her pick out for me because he was teaching me to collect stamps.

14. What is the most important thing about Christmas for you?
Kindness. And pumpkin pie.

15. What is your favorite Christmas dessert?
Pumpkin pie

16. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
Avoiding confrontation with difficult relatives.

A straw angel from Craig.

Through and through I loathe the whole gift thing.

The first few--"yum." The hundredth--"yuck." Remind me to stop at 99.

Nothing.

22. Do you attend an annual Christmas party?
God help me. No.

23. Do you dress up on Christmas or wear PJs?
Rags. I attend Christmas as me.

24. Do you own a Santa hat?
I am the custodian of my daughter's. I am able to find it for her every year.

25. Who do you normally spend Christmas with?
My daughter.
